Happy March, dear readers! Today I wanted to give you the first glimpse at the paperback cover for Forget Me Not:
I'm so very pleased with it, and I think the colors and layout are gorgeous! Both the print cover and the print formatting were done by Lena Goldfinch of Stone Lily Design. Working with Lena is truly a dream come true!
I ordered my proof copy of the paperback today, so once I receive that and approve it, the book should be available to order - first on Amazon and CreateSpace, and then on Barnes & Noble and hopefully other bookseller websites. So we're looking at just a couple more weeks, I believe. Not too much longer!
In other paperback news, we might do an updated version of the Bleeding Heart paperback sometime this spring. Now that Forget Me Not will be available, I'm hoping to have the spine, back cover, and interior of Bleeding Heart tweaked a bit to show that the book is part of a series, having it more closely match Forget Me Not. We'll see how that goes! And as for Morning Glory, I've pretty much locked myself in to a summer release, so I think I've passed the point of no return, LOL. Remember that Morning Glory's paperback cover is going to be extra special...so be sure you're signed up for my newsletter to hear more about that this summer!
How do you feel about paperbacks? Do you prefer them to e-books?
It's pretty! :-D
ReplyDeleteI prefer a paperback to an e book (at one point, I was opposed to e readers!). I suppose that there's something about holding a story that makes me feel more connected to it.
Thank you, Grace! I think so, too! :)
DeleteI agree with you about paperbacks. I'm falling more in love with e-books - instant gratification (shows up right away on your Kindle), easy to carry around, able to have a ton of them on one e-reader, etc.... But there's always something special about a paperback. :)

Yay!! As soon as I can, I'll be picking up copies of Bleeding Heart & Forget Me Not! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, Alyssa, I really appreciate that! Lena does beautiful work, and I think you'll love the full covers and interior formatting. If you want to wait a bit on Bleeding Heart, I *think* we're going to update it with tweaks just so it fits better with the "series" thing. But nothing major's going to change if you don't want to wait. ;) And I'm hoping to have a read-along for BH in May, so maybe you'll want the paperback to follow along with then? :)

Yes, I prefer paperbacks. Can put them in my Book shelf. And just like them better.I do get some on the Cloud Reader when they are free ad they are in a Kindle it says, but I have to connect with Google. and, it is nice to bring them up where the words are as large and even computer screen wide if I want. I love the cover of this book. I have a set by Vannetta Chapman that the publisher changed the 3rd book so don't match the other two. And, they weren't re-releases. I don't think this is right. Otherwise guess it's okay. Hope to win this one someday.

Hi, Maxie! I prefer paperbacks overall, as well, and it is lovely being able to pick them up from a shelf anytime. :)
DeleteSo glad you like the cover! My designer does amazing work. I like when all the covers in a series match, as well, and I believe my designer brought all three covers together splendidly. :) Hope you agree!
I might do a book giveaway in May if I end up doing a read-along for Bleeding Heart, so stay tuned!
